Metro 911 said all lanes of Interstate 77 were back open Thursday morning following a wreck that involved an overturned vehicle.
The accident happened near the Belle exit in the southbound slow lane about 10 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Interstate 77 near the Belle exit was shut down due to a wreck involving an overturned car, Metro 911 said.
No injuries were reported in the accident that occurred in the southbound slow lane of the interstate, a dispatcher said. The wreck occurred about 10 a.m.
Crews were cleaning up the accident and attempting to right the overturned vehicle.
Emergency crews were responding to a call about a vehicle that had overturned on its top on Interstate 77 South near the Belle-Midland Trail exit, snarling traffic, Metro 911 said.
An emergency dispatcher said the wreck occurred about 10 a.m., and crews were responding. It was unclear whether there were any injuries.
Traffic was backed up all the way to Kanawha Boulevard. The dispatcher said it was unclear whether any lanes of the interstate were shut down.
