Vinton , Gallia County , Ohio
A man suffered serious injuries after he was pinned for several hours in a tractor accident in Gallia County.
Jennings D. Marcum, 69, of Vinton was injured in the accident in Vinton along Adney Road, the Gallia County Sheriff's Department said.
The sheriff's department received a call about 8 a.m. Wednesday, but deputies said it's possible the accident happened Tuesday night but it was not discovered until the following morning because it was a remote area of the county.
Deputies believe Marcum was clearing brush when a portion of the tractor rolled over him. Marcum was pinned underneath the equipment hauled by the tractor when the accident was discovered.
The victim was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center. His condition was unavailable.
