A fire gutted a trailer in Huntington early Sunday.
Neighbors said the trailer, located in the 1800 block of Jackson Avenue, was abandoned. The fire occurred at about 1 a.m. and completely destroyed the trailer.
"It was really scary,” Shane Ross, who called 911, said. “My trailer was really hot. You couldn't even stand on the porch. It was just hot and scary. I was more scared for my neighbor. I beat on his windows and doors, trying to get him out of there."
No one was reported hurt in the fire.
Just more than a year ago, the same trailer was intentionally set on fire, police said.
Because no utilities were hooked up to the home, Sunday’s fire is also being considered suspicious.
