The northbound lanes of the West Virginia Turnpike in the Sharon area of Kanawha County reopened Friday about 11 a.m. following a tractor-trailer wreck and fire. Both northbound lanes were closed for about two and a half hours while crews cleared the scene, a dispatcher said.
A dispatcher said the accident happened about a mile north of the Sharon tollbooth. No injuries were reported.
Northbound lanes of the West Virginia Turnpike were shut down Friday morning after a tractor-trailer wrecked and then caught on fire, a Turnpike dispatcher said.
The accident happened about 8:30 a.m. a mile north of the tollbooth at Sharon, the dispatcher said. No injuries were reported.
