All lanes of Interstate 64 eastbound near the MacCorkle Avenue exit were back open Thursday afternoon following a wreck on the on-ramp of the exit.
The slow and middle lanes had been closed earlier after a three-vehicle wreck on the MacCorkle Avenue on-ramp. At least one person was transported to the hospital. Another was being evaluated at the scene.
A three-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on the eastbound on-ramp of the MacCorkle Avenue exit of Interstate 64 caused some traffic headaches.
The slow and middle lanes of Interstate 64 eastbound near the exit were closed following the accident that occurred about 3:10 p.m., a Metro 911 dispatcher said.
At least one person was transported to the hospital. Another person was being evaluated at the accident scene.
The South Charleston Police Department, South Charleston Fire Department and the Kanawha County Ambulance Authority responded.
