A flash flood warning was in effect for southern Jackson County and Putnam County until 6 p.m. Thursday, Chief Meteorolgist Jim Barach said.
Meanwhile, firefighters were attempting to rescue a woman who reportedly drove through high water along Route 21 in Kenna about 4 p.m., a 911 dispatchers said. That portion of roadway is closed at this time.
Remember, do not drive through flooded roadways.

A flash flood watch is in effect until Saturday morning for multiple counties in West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio.
Eyewitness News Chief Meteorologist Jim Barach said one-quarter to one-half inch of rain is possible Thursday night, while some areas could receive up to an inch. The flood watch extends through Saturday morning. Dry conditions are expected for Sunday.
West Virginia counties in the flood watch area are Boone, Braxton, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Fayette, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, McDowell, Mason, Mingo, Nicholas, Pleasants, Pocahontas, Putnam, Raleigh, Ritchie, Roane, Wayne, Webster, Wirt, Wood and Wyoming.
In Kentucky, counties in the flood watch area are Elliott, Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin, Morgan, Pike, Boyd, Carter, Greenup and Lawrence.
Ohio counties in the flood watch area are Athens, Gallia, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Morgan, Vinton, Washington.
