Education is the pathway to the future, and Eyewitness News wants to make sure children are headed in the right direction.
You can help them take some of those very important steps. Contribute school supplies to our “Tools for School” drive that runs through Aug. 16. Students from grade school up to high school age in Kanawha, Cabell and Boone counties will benefit from the campaign, sponsored by Ford and Catholic Charities of Charleston.
The station is collecting a variety of school supplies such as backpacks, pens, pencils, notebook paper, notebooks and crayons. Collected items will be turned over to the school systems for distribution. Parents should check with their local school system if their kids need supplies.
Donations may be dropped off during business hours Monday through Friday at our studios in Charleston, 1301 Piedmont Road, and in Huntington, 1002 Fourth Ave.
Please consider making a donation to this worthy cause, so all local kids have a chance to get off to a great start this year.
