Metro 911 said the accident scene has been cleared on Interstate 64 near Cross Lanes, and all westbound lanes are open.
The wreck happened about 11 a.m. near the Cross Lanes exit when a truck hauling a trailer with lumber and construction equipment wrecked. An emergency dispatcher said the accident scene was cleared about 12:30 p.m.
The fast and center lanes of Interstate 64 West near the Cross Lanes exit were open about noon Friday, but the slow lane was closed after a trailer hauling lumber and construction equipment spilled its load.
Kanawha County deputies said a pickup truck hauling the trailer was coming down the hill from Cross Lanes when the trailer began to fishtail, causing the truck to spin into the guardrail and to spill its load.
No injuries were reported in the 11 a.m. accident.
A trailer hauling lumber overturned on Interstate 64 West near Cross Lanes Friday morning, Metro 911 said.
The state's 511 system reported that two out of three westbound lanes were closed. An emergency 911 dispatcher said the accident occurred about 11 a.m., and some lumber did spill into the highway.
No injuries were reported.
