You still have a chance of striking it rich.
No one had the winning numbers in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing that had a jackpot prize estimated at $235 million.
The next drawing for the Powerball will be Saturday night. The prize is now at $290 million
Buy a house or car and pay cash. Purchase an island. There are a lot of things that can go on the shopping list if there is $235 million in the bank account.
The Powerball has reached that lofty amount for Wednesday night’s drawing after no one had the lucky numbers for Saturday night’s drawing.
Meanwhile, the jackpot for the Mega Millions jackpot is $13 million.
West Virginians have had their luck this year in the Powerball drawing. In March, two winning tickets were sold in Boone and Cabell counties. Doug Gillispie of Julian, a retired coal miner, was a $1 million prize winner. Mary Carr of Barboursville and her husband also were $1 million winners.
