This year's National Boy Scout Jamboree is now over in Fayette County, but work is already being done to plan for future jamborees.
A new law looks to establish a first responder network to create better communications during the next jamborees.
U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller wrote the bill to establish First Net.
Rockefeller said the state-of-the-art high-speed, wireless network is currently being rolled out and will revolutionize first responder communications nationwide.
The system will offer emergency crews better access to mobile video, mapping data, GPS services, along with other technologies.
It will also be the first national public safety broadband network in West Virginia.
