Kenova , Wayne County , West Virginia
An old school in Kenova will soon hit the auction block.
The former Kenova Elementary School closed in May 2011 because of concerns with a gaping sink hole.
The school property is currently owned by the city of Kenova.
It's been appraised at more than $1.1 million dollars, which will be the opening bid for the auction, set for Aug. 3 at 10 a.m.
At least two groups have already expressed interest in buying the old school.
