A fleet of FedEx vehicles lined the road Thursday after the funeral of a woman killed in an alleged drunken driving incident earlier this week.
About 50 FedEx trucks and vans led the funeral processional for Deborah Rakes from Christ Temple Church this afternoon. Rakes was a longtime employee of FedEx, which suspended some operations this afternoon to pay its respects.
Rakes died from injuries sustained in a car accident Sunday afternoon on Fifth Street Hill Road in Huntington.
Police have charged Michael Shane Couch with DUI causing death in connection with the accident. Couch has a history of driving under the influence.
