A 91-year-old woman died from her injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in Beckley that was driven by an 83-year-old man, police said.
Virginia Diciuccio of Beckley was crossing East Prince Street Tuesday when she was hit, Sgt. D.R. Bailey of the Beckley Police Department said. She was transported to Raleigh General Hospital where she later died.
Bailey said no charges have been filed, but the accident remains under investigation
