Schools in Lincoln and Kanawha County were closing early Thursday due to no power.
In Lincoln County, West Hamlin Elementary, Hamlin Elementary and Lincoln County High School were closing as soon as possible Thursday morning due to a power outage, school officials said.
Meanwhile, Marmet Elementary closed at 9:45 a.m. due to lack of power, school officials said.
