The driver of a pickup truck was taken to the hospital after a early morning accident in Putnam County Thursday.
It happened about 6:15 a.m. along Route 25 in front of the Pilot gas station, just off of I-64.
Eyewitness News has learned a pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer which was parked along the side of the road. The driver of the tractor-trailer was apparently sleeping at the time of the accident.
The driver of the pickup was trapped for a period of time and then taken to a Charleston hospital. No word on what caused the driver of the pickup to collide with the tractor-trailer.
