A man pleaded guilty to two counts of first–degree murder Tuesday in brutal slayings that occurred last year in Boone County.
Timothy Parsons now faces the possibility of life in prison with no mercy. He will be sentenced May 1.
In May 2012, Parsons stabbed to death is wife, Leigh Anne Kinder Parsons, 35, and then murdered Leigh Anne’s mother, Sue Kinder, 62, in his home in Boone County. Police said he also tied up a 15-year-old girl in the home and sexually assaulted her and threatened to kill her if she tried to get away and get help.
Kidnapping and sex assault charges were dropped in the case because prosecutors said they wanted to spare the victim and did not want to have to put her on the stand.
