HealthNet Aeromedical Services and Cabell Huntington Hospital unveiled a new fleet of life-saving helicopters on Monday.
The new helicopters have more space for patient care and is equipped with the latest technology. The upgraded aircraft is reportedly quieter than most helicopters, too.
"We have touched a number of lives in this region and these new helicopters are strong evidence to HealthNet's commitment to this region and of our sponsor hospitals in our region," Clinton Burley, president and CEO of HealthNet, said.
The company was formed in 1986 and has completed more than 70,000 patient transports. There are eight HealthNet bases in West Virginia and Kentucky.
