A Kentucky sheriff was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
Floyd County Sheriff John K. Blackburn, 62, of Prestonsburg was charged with DUI in Powell County. A Stanton police officer arrested Blackburn on Sunday night for reportedly driving recklessly, Powell officials said.
Blackburn is scheduled to appear in Powell County Court on April 9 for arraignment.
Blackburn is also listed as the president of the Kentucky Sheriff's Association.
