Eyewitness News has launched a new feature on our website, called "Remember When," in which we are looking back at all of the changes and events our area has gone through since WCHS first went on the air in 1954.
This week, we focus on the Diamond. Once the largest department store in West Virginia, it was a Charleston institution for 56 years until its closing in 1983.
To view the footage and to share any memories you may have, go to the "Remember When" section of our website.
