A Scioto County, Ohio, man has been arrested after detectives said they found a methamephetamine lab inside his home.
Gregory Baker, Jr., 35, of Portsmouth was charged Tuesday with manufacturing meth within 100 feet of a juvenile and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of meth. Baker also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for meth-related offenses in January in Scioto County.
On Tuesday at 10:50 p.m., officers with the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force searched a home in the 2100 block of Grant Street after a report of a meth lab, according to a news release from the task force. Officers said they discovered a "one pot" meth lab in a bedroom of the home.
The Portsmouth Fire Department and task force detectives had to dismantle the meth lab, the release said.
