Clowns from Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey circus came out to visit with patients at CAMC Women and Children's Hospital Thursday.
The clowns gave children beads of courage, which represent significant treatment milestones during their journey at the hospital.
Thursday's event gave these kids a chance to take a break from dealing with the seriousness of battling illness and take a moment to laugh.
The clowns also performed a few circus tricks for the children.
