An art exhibit opened in Huntington Sunday, showcasing works from retired art teachers in Cabell County.
The "Earth, Wind and Fire - Class Acts" exhibit features the work of Leona Mackey, Vernon Howell and Robert Fulks, who are all retired art instructors and award winning artists.
"When I retired, I was able to do what I’ve always wanted to do, which is be an artist," Mackey said.
The gallery is located on the ground floor of the old Huntington High School building. The exhibit will run through April 21.
