A Georgia man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Huntington is now back in West Virginia.
Tyerus Hayes was arrested on March 1 in Georgia and was extradited back to Huntington Saturday night.
Hayes is charged with first-degree murder for a shooting that happened in early January.
Christopher Carter, 25, was shot several times at the Forrest Buff Apartment Complex between Huntington and Barboursville.
Police are still searching for a second suspect, Terry "Boots" Morton, who is from Detroit.
Authorities in Georgia have located a suspect who is wanted in connection with a Cabell County murder.
Tyerus "Tank" Hayes was arrested on Saturday by U.S. marshals in Gwinnett County, Ga. West Virginia state troopers said Hayes is being extradited to face murder charges stemming from a shooting in Barboursville in January.
Troopers said Christopher Carter died after being shot several times at the Forrest Bluff apartments. Investigators are still looking for Terry "Boots" Morton from Detroit.
