Huntington police officers responding to a tip about a possible methamphetamine lab arrested two men Thursday night.
Claybourne Scott Williamson, 47, of Whitman and Robert Dewayne Toppings, 46, who lived at the home on 28th Street, are charged with attempting to operate a meth lab, police said.
Police said they received a call about a possible meth lab in the 800 block of 28th Street. After serving a search warrant, they found evidence of a meth lab, police said.
Williamson also is charged with altering pseudophedrine.
The two men were being held in the Western Regional Jail.
