Firefighters were responding to the scene of a structure fire in Putnam County Friday afternoon.
The blaze was reported about 12:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Hurricane Creek Road near Coleman Creek, a dispatcher said.
Dispatchers told Eyewitness News that the structure on fire was a garage apartment. Units from Kanawha County were called in to assist in fighting the blaze.
