Kentucky troopers charged a man with attempted murder after discovering an unconscious woman in his car in Pike County.
Johnathan N. Thornsbury, 29, of Sidney was charged with attempted murder on Thursday. Troopers responded to the Sidney community after a report of a domestic disturbance. Troopers discovered the people had left the area. Troopers were able to catch up with the vehicle involved and found an unconscious woman inside. The woman was sent to the Pikeville Medical Center where she was admitted to the intensive care unit.
Thornsbury was initially arrested on unrelated charges. Detectives later added the additional charges after a follow up investigation.
