A vehicle struck a power pole Friday morning in Dunbar, but no injuries were reported.
Metro 911 said the accident happened about 8:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Fairlawn Ave.
The driver of the vehicle told Eyewitness News she wasn't sure what had happened in the moments before the accident. Her vehicle did receive extensive front end damage. Initially, dispatchers were told that power lines were down in the area, but that turned out not to be the case.
Medics, the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office and the Institute Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
