A Charleston man was arrested after police said he stabbed his father early Friday.
Drew Ornbaun, 24, of Charleston was charged with attempted murder. Police said Ornbaun stabbed his father, Thomas Ornbaun, 60, in the neck. Thomas received serious, but non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to a Charleston hospital.
The incident happened about 6:30 a.m. at the De Haskell Apartments in the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue in Charleston.
Neighbors told Eyewitness News that the two had been having problems for some time.
