She is the mother of Naomi and the grandmother of Wynona and Ashley. Polly Judd is a Republican and former city commissioner.

Her granddaughter is Ashley Judd, Hollywood actress and possibly Kentucky's next U.S. senator, if she decides to run against Sen. Mitch McConnell in 2014.

"There's not a lot I can say," Polly Judd said. " I know pretty much what a Hollywood liberal stands for, and I don't see a whole lot there I can agree with. So, not likely, I'd be in favor of it."

Ashley's sister, Wynona Judd, is a country music legend and will soon be on "Dancing With The Stars."

"Wynona can do anything she sets her mind to and she is very coordinated. Of course, she is a big girl. That's just her physical makeup," Polly Judd said. "She'll do everything to the best of her ability and she'll agonize over it until she gets it right."

Polly Judd said she is proud of her granddaughters, but when it comes to Ashley and her possible political future, she's not quite sure yet if she will get the role.

"It's too early in the game to predict," she said.
