Yeager Airport will soon offer daily jet service between Charleston and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
The service will be available from American Airlines starting June 12, utilizing a 50-seat Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft, according to a news release from the airport.
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport has grown to become American’s largest hub, serving as a central gateway to American’s extensive international and domestic network, and currently stands as the nation’s third busiest airport in terms of operations and eighth largest in terms of passenger boardings.
“Having direct service from Charleston to Dallas/Fort Worth is a wonderful
opportunity for both West Virginia and Texas,” Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin said. “In addition to providing quick and easy travel for business trips, direct service will offer travelers an opportunity to experience the things that make each of our states great.”
