It was a special day Wednesday at the West Virginia Legislature for women.
This year's theme for Women's Day, "Be the Change You Wish to See," was a way to familiarize women with the legislative process. Nearly 200 ladies were able to voice their concerns with business leaders and legislators.
They also attended workshops on how to make a difference in their lives through finances and college education.
Female veterans also were honored at a special luncheon.
