Two people were arrested after police said they found an active meth lab in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Police say they received a tip about a drug operation in the 2100 block of Robinson Avenue on Friday night. When they arrived at the scene, police said they found materials commonly found in meth labs. Officers from the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force also were called to investigate and verified the presence of meth lab-related materials and an active one pot methamphetamine cook.
Officers arrested Bryce Shover, 24, and later arrested Shane McGlone, 33. Both are charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of meth and illegal manufacture of meth. McGlone also had outstanding warrants for breaking and entering and failure to appear.
