Charleston police arrest a man in connection with an alleged robbery in the parking lot of Elder-Beerman in Kanawha City.
Police arrested Colt Grubb Monday evening. Deputies say he walked up to a man around 6 p.m. and told him he had a gun and would kill him if he didn't give him money.
Police say Grubb then got into a car and took off. They say they later stopped that car near Tim Hogan's Carpets.
Four people were detained, but three of them were released.
Grubb is charged with second degree robbery.
Police have made an arrest in connection with an alleged robbery in the parking lot of Elder-Beerman in Kanawha City Monday evening.
Dispatchers say a man walked up to the victim and said he had a gun and would kill him if he didn't give him money. Police say he then got into a vehicle and took off.
Police stopped that vehicle near Tim Hogan's Carpets. Four people were detained, but three of them were released.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, is currently being booked at the Charleston Police Department.

Police are investigating a robbery near Elder Beerman in Kanawha City that happened shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.
Dispatchers say a man was robbed in the parking lot in front of the store. Police say the victim told them that a man came up to him and said if he didn't give him money he would kill him. The suspect said he had a gun, but the victim didn't see it.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5'10" tall with black hair. He was wearing a leather jacket, with no shirt, and blue jeans.
