Some elementary school students came together with members of the community Saturday to raise money for the American Heart Association.
Nitro Elementary hosted the Jump For Hearts Craft Fair at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Craft vendors were set up and prizes were given away.
Organizers said this is the first year for the event, but they hope to make it a yearly tradition.
