Two men have been arrested in connection with a robbery and shooting in Huntington.
Joseph S. Reeves, 28, and Antonio D. Ward, 29, both of Bluefield were arrested on Monday. Ward was charged with kidnapping, robbery and two counts of wanton endangerment. Reeves was charged with kidnapping, unlawful assault and robbery.
The two suspects are accused of robbing two men on March 2 inside a home in the 900 block of 13th Street in Huntington, according to a criminal complaint. The suspects forced the two victims to lie down, while their hands were bound with duct tape, the complaint said. Police said one of the victims were stabbed in the back by a box cutter. One victim tried to run out the front door when police said Ward fired a semi-automatic handgun at him, striking him once in the shoulder.
The two were arrested in Mercer County by Bluefield police. Dispatchers said the shooting victim walked into Cabell Huntington Hospital about 1 a.m. for his injury.
Police are investigating a shooting in Huntington.
Dispatchers say a man walked into Cabell Huntington Hospital around 1 a.m. Saturday with a gunshot wound. At this time, it is unclear where the victim was shot.
The victim, whose name has not been released, says the shooting happened in the 900 block of 13th Street.
So far, no arrests have been made.
