The Logan County Sheriff’s Department has issued a warning to be on the lookout for individuals impersonating plain clothes officers and soliciting donations from residents.
The individuals were last seen in the Mudfork area of Logan, according to a news release from the sheriff’s department. The Logan County Sheriff's Department and the Logan County Deputy Sheriff's Association are not soliciting for any programs at this time in Logan County.
Residents are asked to contact police immediately if plain clothes individuals appear at a home representing the sheriff’s department and are advised not to give them money.
Anyone with information on the individuals is asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
