A Cabell County man was arrested after deputies said he stabbed and bit his wife.
Charles M. Grieco III, 40, was charged Wednesday with domestic battery and malicious wounding.
Deputies responded to a home in the 6100 block of Right Fork Smith Creek in Salt Rock. The suspect was in a fight with his wife when he allegedly grabbed a steak knife, chased her, then stabbed her in the leg, according to a criminal complaint filed at the Cabell Magistrate Court. Deputies said the woman went to check on her children when the suspect allegedly tackled her and bit her on her hand.
Grieco was being held at the Western Regional Jail with a $35,000 bond.
