Two Ohio women were arrested after Boyd County sheriff's deputies said they made an undercover drug buy to purchase pills.
Mary E. McCann, 55, and Bonnie J. Triplett, 59, both of Ironton were arrested Thursday. Triplett is charged with drug trafficking, and McCann is charged with drug trafficking and drug possession.
Deputies said an undercover informant purchase 10 Oxycodone pills from the suspects in a fast food parking lot in Ashland at 4 p.m. Thursday. Deputies said they found more pills and money inside the suspects' car.
Both are being held at the Boyd County Detention Center.
