The Boyd County Sheriff's Department said it arrested three people after an undercover drug buy to purchase meth.
Brandon L. Gibbs, 37, Ashley S. Kirk, 29, both of Catlettsburg, and Barbara K. Moyer, 38, of Ashland, were arrested on Thursday. Gibbs is charged with manufacturing meth and drug trafficking. Kirk and Moyer were charged with manufacturing meth.
Deputies said an undercover informant bought meth from Gibbs at a mall parking lot about 8 p.m. Thursday. Deputies said they discovered eight, one-step meth labs, meth precursors, syringes and cash inside the car.
A special drug unit with the Kentucky State Police had to dispose of the meth labs.
