Two Nicholas County residents were arrested on drug charges by the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force, according to news release from Nicholas County Sheriff Steve Kessler.
Agents of the task force said they had received information that Eddie Ray Davis, 31, of Mount Lookout and Hannah Sebert, 26, of Summersville were attempting to purchase a large quantity of Roxycodone pills.
Agents said they then arranged a meeting of two confidential informants with Davis and Sebert at an Oak Hill lodge, where the two suspects allegedly paid $4,745 for 200 Roxycodone pills.
Davis and Sebert were taken into custody by agents, who said they recovered the drugs the two had allegedly purchased.
Davis and Sebert were arraigned in the Magistrate Court of Fayette County and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. They are being held in the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond for each.
