An 11-year-old Putnam County boy has created an app for the grocery store that his father owns.
Jay Joseph is a fifth-grader, but he already has a lot of technology to add to his resume.
Joseph created an app for the Foodland in Eleanor, which his father owns. The app puts all of the information about the store and the pizzeria inside, at your fingertips. Once the app is downloaded 100 times, Jay and his father said they will submit it to Android.
"You're able to do the menu's, see the specials, check out the Facebook and Instagram," Jay said. "I wanted to be able to make something that was mobile where people can go around with their phones and see their menu and everything."
Jay told Eyewitness News that his app was posted less than a week ago and already has more than 20 downloads.
