The stretch in Putnam County will be widened, and culverts will be repaired.
People who live nearby said there have been several accidents in this location, and it's extremely dangerous.
"Again, I fall back to the federal government. We need their assistance. It really doesn't need to be widened; it just needs to be deleted," Steven Fellure of Putnam County said.
The repairs should be finished by fall of this year.
