A Kanawha County man who was charged with the shooting of another man in 2011 has been sentenced to prison.
Timothy Chapman, 36, of Nitro was sentenced to two to 10 years in a Kanawha County courtroom Monday.
Chapman had previously been charged with shooting Matthew Singleton in the chest at a Lakewood Drive apartment building in Sissonville back in 2011. Singleton survived the incident and was able to pick Chapman out of a photo lineup.
