One person was transported to the hospital after an accident Monday afternoon on Interstate 77 at the Leon Sullivan Way/Capitol street exit.
A Metro 911 dispatcher said the accident occurred about 1 p.m. and involved a tractor-trailer and a car.
The lanes were shut down for a period, but reopened after crews cleaned up the accident.
