This summer's Festivall Charleston will have even more to celebrate this year, overlapping with West Virginia’s 150th birthday.
Festivall organizers gave us a taste on Monday of what to expect this summer.
On June 22nd, the Festivall art parade will combine with the West Virginia Sesquicentennial History Parade along Kanawha Boulevard.
Also that day, the Smoke on the Water Chili Cookoff will take place on the Capitol Grounds.
On stage, Kathy Mattea will headline the Live on the Levee concert June 21. On June 27, Kool and the Gang will perform at the mayor's concert at the Clay Center. Local band The Equires will be featured on June 28.
