We've been dazzled by their performances on-screen. Daniel Day-Lewis as President Abraham Lincoln is nominated for a Best Actor award. His co-stars Sally Field and Tommy Lee Jones are also nominated.

Hugh Jackman was recognized for his work in the musical "Les Miserables" as was his co-star, the favorite to win Best Supporting Actress, Anne Hathaway.

Denzel Washington was nominated for his role as the damaged airplane captain in "Flight."

While Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are up for acting awards for their standout performances in "Silver Linings Playbook."
