INTERSTATE 64 ACCIDENT No One Hurt In Three-Car Wreck; Westbound Lanes Reopen

Interstate 64 westbound lanes between Scott Depot and St. Albans are back open following an accident Monday morning.
An emergency dispatcher with Putnam County 911 said the lanes reopened about 8:30 a.m. The accident occurred about 7:45 a.m. An additional accident occurred in the eastbound lanes in the same area, but it did not affect traffic.
No injuries were reported in the wrecks.
Everyone involved in a three-car accident on Interstate 64 walked away "OK," dispatchers said.
It happened about 7:45 a.m. near mile marker 42 in between the Scott Depot and St. Albans exits in the westbound lane of I-64.
Westbound lanes were closed while crews worked to clear the accident.
