It was a matter of the heart Saturday night at the annual Heart Ball in Charleston.
The American Heart Association and Thomas Health System held the ball, which was a black and white affair. The ball is an annual fundraising event and features live and silent auctions, live music and a feast for party goers.
The purpose of the event is to raise money to help save lives and educate the public about the dangers of heart disease and stroke.
Kennie Bass and Darrah Wilcox of the Eyewitness News team helped host the event.
