Two people are behind bars after a man is allegedly caught making meth in a rental property owned by his mother.
West Virginia State Police say they were responding to a possible meth lab in what was supposed to be a vacant apartment on Bluefield Avenue in Rand. When they got there, they allegedly found James Triplet and Mary Bowen surrounded by ingredients used to make meth.
Troopers say Triplet's mother was the landlord of the apartment and told them that nobody was supposed to be living there.
Both Triplet and Bowen face numerous drug charges. They are currently in the South Central Regional Jail.
