A major road in Huntington was shut down Friday evening after an accident sent three people to the hospital.
Police say a Ford pickup truck rear ended a car.
The accident happened shortly after 6:45 p.m. on Madison Avenue near the intersection of West 26th Street.
Three people were taken to the hospital, two of which were drivers of the vehicles.
Police didn't know the extent of their injuries and the accident is still under investigation.
